I would like to introduce you to the E-Pimp app for Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery students. Much like the "Word of the Day" concept, E-Pimp is based on the idea that a few minutes per day can lead to enormous amounts of learning over the course of a week, a year, or a lifetime. From your own handheld device, you can access daily questions that will not only keep you up to date on the current state of Otolaryngology, but also earn you up to 24 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ per year!Pimping is a term with a specific meaning in medical education, a meaning that has no demonstrable origin—and no clear counterpart in common usage. The simple definition is a follows:

Pimp - (V) - The asking of a student or resident, by an attending, of some question within the broad field of medical knowledge.

At Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery E-Pimp we endeavor to provide all Otolaryngologists (both those in training and those in practice) with a daily learning experience that provides them with practical and important data that will enhance their practice of medicine.
